On Aug 31st, CWU launched its own TV programme on Sky channel 167.
CWU TV is a magazine-style programme created by the CWU for CWU members and produced by the union's broadcast partner, Flawless Media.
The first programme included features on postal liberalisation, pensions in both Royal Mail and BT, and the work of the CWU Youth section.
The programme will be repeated on Tuesdays at 10.a.m and Thursdays at 4 p.m on Information TV, Sky channel 167, and simultaneously online at www.information.tv
CWU Head of communications Kevin Slocombe said:
"This is an exciting addition to the union’s communications portfolio. Delivering the union’s messages to eight million front rooms sets the benchmark for trade union communications.
We are really excited about CWU TV and hope union members will watch it and enjoy it. We are asking CWU members to contribute directly by having their say on the show.”
