NW Youth Officer Elected Chair Of The National Committee

Maeve Kennedy has been elected as the Chair of the National Youth Advisory Committee, a very coveted and important position within the union.

Not only will she oversee the Youth committee she sits on the National Executive and the PET (Policy, Education and Training Committee).

The YAC chair and Vice Chair are drawn from different industrial executives (Postal & Telecom), the YAC chair and vice chair now sit on the relevant industrial executives. The YAC chair also sits on the Union Fund Management steering committee.

Maeve will also be a CWU delegate to this years' TUC conference in September.

Maeve said “I am very much looking forward to the year ahead of me and would like to thank the Northwest branches for their support”.
