The results of the 3 separate ballots are as follows: POL ADMIN POL CROWN OFFICES Yes Votes: 104 (88%) Yes Votes: 2479 (87%) No Votes: 14 (12%) No Votes: 372 (13%) Turnout: 118 (50%) Turnout: 2857 (61%) POL SUPPLY CHAIN Yes Votes: 582 (86%) No Votes: 91 (14%) Turnout: 674 (52%) These are excellent Yes Votes and in all 3 ballots every Branch delivered a majority yes vote. Arrears of pay and those allowances that are due to be increased, together with relevant lump sums, will be paid in 21st December wages or in December salaries as appropriate. Concluding these pay agreements has been exceptionally challenging. We can now move forward with the knowledge that we have made a real difference in comparison to POL’s original ‘final offers’. The gains to pay and the introduction of the SWW would not have been possible without industrial action in both Crown Offices and Supply Chain. Source: CWU HQ |
