Second NW Regional Women's Forum

Please see the flyer on the left, advertising the 2nd NW Regional Women's Forum being held on the 1st November 2008 at the Mechanics Institute, 103 Princes St, Manchester, M1 6DD, commencing at 1pm. This event is open to all CWU Members.

Guest Speakers include: Joan Humble MP (Secretary NW Group of MPs), Sarah Clements from the UK Resource Centre and Grace Mitchell.

A number of information stands have been organised including legal services, training and equality.

The Women Officers and committee have worked extremely hard to organise this forum, so please do all you can to bring this event to the attention of your members, especially your female members by distributing leaflets in the workplace, sending emails, mail shots, displaying the flyer on all CWU Noticeboards, branch websites and of course word of mouth.

I would also be grateful if branches would consider helping with the travel costs for those members who wish to attend.
