YAC Member Campaigns Against BNP In Local Elections

Lee Fishwick Youth Advisory Committee Member is helping fight against the British National Party by supporting the efforts to leaflet against them in Burnley & District Council Elections on 1stMay.

North Lancs &Cumbria Branch Youth Officer Lee has played an active role within the area supporting Local Counsellors, helping to organise a Love Music Hate Racism event in Preston last year.

Lee has put his principles into action by taking a stance against the BNP. At the height of their zenith the BNP held 7 seats, through hard local campaigning they have been reduced to 4. Local Labour Counsellor for Padiham Andy Tatchell is committed with the help of local trade union activists to fighting the BNP until all BNP candidates are deposed.
