Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Defence, Clive Lewis MP, attacked the Tory Government for it’s lack of care for the welfare and health and safety of our armed forces personel and condemned their cutting by one fifth of the defence budget.

He pledged to ensure a British bid for the new aircraft carriers would be included in any bidding for the work process.
