CWU RESPONSE TO COMPLAINTS ABOUT MAIL DELAYS

CWU RESPONSE TO COMPLAINTS ABOUT MAIL DELAYS

Wednesday 13th January 2021

CWU Deputy General Secretary (Postal) Terry Pullinger said “Our members have done an absolutely incredible job throughout the pandemic to keep the UK connected. People across the country are making adjustments to their lives to account for the unprecedented times we live in. Postal services are not immune from these challenges. There have been and will continue to be some delays in areas of the UK due to the impact of Covid. What we will not stand for is criticism of our members, who are going above and beyond to keep the service going. We ask for patience and consideration for your local postal workers – they are doing their very best under incredibly difficult circumstances. We as a union are very proud of them and so should everyone be.”
