Labour’s Women’s Conference Rejects All Forms Of Abuse And Intimidation

Speaking to Labour Conference this morning, Ann Black NEC Vice Chair for Women gave a detailed report back from the Women’s Conference held last Saturday.

The most poigniant point she made was in relation to the history of abuse, misogynistic comments, cat calling and intimidation that women still suffer to this day.

Whilst previously it was on the streets and in work, it is now also on-line.

Ann told delegates that the Women’s Conference rejected the usual advice for women, saying, "Why should Women, and indeed men, be excluded from social media by threats and intimidation, and we can start with our party by following our leader Jeremy Corbyn’s absolute commitment to zero tolerence of all forms of abuse!"
